Final Years Exhibit at CSM

Visited the BA graduates Fashion exhibit at Central Saint Martins last night, it was really fantastic! Although there was a lot of lovely work, the Print class didn't present as well as they could have. I hope to change that for our graduating year. The Menswear, Womenswear, Fashion Marketing and Communications department however did a great job with a clean, direct and organized format of displaying their designs. In anycase, a certain Blandine Bardeau caught my eye; her illustrations and final collection were really captivating! I love this picture of my mother at the age of 12, 1969 (Beirut, Lebanon). It's so rare for me to find old pictures of her as a child and even though we don't see her so well here (she's dancing with the big man) it's still a beautiful relic from her past!!
