During some points of my internship at Zuhair Murad, I would pop out my phone and start getting inspired by my 2 mega pixel pictures and doodle away(of course I got told off a few times) while also finding time to draw some of my co-workers…such as Antoinette who would randomly shout out: “ OH YES BOBBY!!” to wake everyone up. She was cool. Grandma extraordinaire with super sewing talents. Also there was Joseph Abou-Shroush, who was constantly making fun of everyone and everything (oh and mind you, everyone spoke in Arabic, which is good…should mean I must have improved a bit by now). Ofcourse there was also Fatme, who taught me how to embroider. Good times. :)

Visited the BA graduates Fashion exhibit at Central Saint Martins last night, it was really fantastic! Although there was a lot of lovely work, the Print class didn't present as well as they could have. I hope to change that for our graduating year. The Menswear, Womenswear, Fashion Marketing and Communications department however did a great job with a clean, direct and organized format of displaying their designs. In anycase, a certain Blandine Bardeau caught my eye; her illustrations and final collection were really captivating! I love this picture of my mother at the age of 12, 1969 (Beirut, Lebanon). It's so rare for me to find old pictures of her as a child and even though we don't see her so well here (she's dancing with the big man) it's still a beautiful relic from her past!!

Wooow, ok today/tonight was funny/weird and super paranoid-infested!!! Haha I almost got all my money stolen at a cash point. Some theif put a camera fone camouflaged in the cash machine and put some sticky thing to trap my card. Anyway we called the police (at first I didn't believe it was the police I thought it was also a scam because they were under-cover) but it turned out to be really them lol my bad. I was scared! You can't trust anyone in London (in terms of strangers) everyone's out to get ya!! Haha. ah, I need to sleep.

Aaaaaaaaah....Sizzled brain. I got all excited about writing in this thing and now I feel like a dried up fig morphed into a tortured piniata stick.

But since I'm already here, I might as well use my lack-of-computer-skills and update this thirsty blog-a-boo.
Ironically I'm using the word"update", considering most of the drawings are a little over a couple months old (they're oldies in the fast-paced world of fashion and art). But they will do.

Hmm...Blogs seem wonderfully useless. Yet, yet there is something attractive about them. The "personalisation's", the quirky individualistic writings and notes, the organization of thoughts (or lack thereof)...

More importantly however, they complete this hyped-up new age of globally sharing, interacting and mutating information within seconds of idly clicking a plastic button.

Le Petit Prince would agree with me on this one I think.
